A piano accompanist, Marilyn Powell currently works with the Central Point schools' music programs, and also assists local churches when needed. As a flutist, Marilyn enjoys performing as both a soloist and ensemble player. A talented musician, Marilyn is able to provide piano or flute music for church services, weddings, memorial services, and school programs, as well as for soloists and ensembles.
Marilyn attended Linfield College as a music education major and served as the piano accompanist for the college choir. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Hawaii Pacific University.
