Patricia Potter


Patricia Potter is a free-lance violinist, violist, and conductor from the Rogue Valley. She has been the conductor of the Second Street Musicians, a violinist with the Caprice Ensemble of Ashland, and has maintained a private teaching studio in Ashland. Currently she is spending the school year teaching orchestra classes in Scottsdale, Arizona but maintains summer residence in Ashland. Her background is rich with music and she has performed with the Rogue Valley Symphony, the Oregon East Symphony, the Shakespeare Festival Association, and a host of other local ensembles as well as the UCLA Symphony Orchestra, the Lethbridge, Alberta Symphony Orchestra and the Lethbridge String Quartet.

Ms. Potter holds advanced university degrees in music and education and has worked as a public school music specialist in Ashland as well as in Pendleton, Oregon, and in California, Arizona, and Canada. She loves to play violin and viola and conduct!
