The Rogue Valley Harmonizers

The Rogue Valley Harmonizers mens a capella chorus, has more than 45 members from across southern Oregon and northern California. We are the Rogue Valley Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), and we love to sing! The national society has more than 800 chapters and 27,000 members world wide. Barbershop harmony is sung in 52 countries of the world.

If you are a man and are interested in singing with us, the Harmonizers meet every Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 8th and Holly Streets in Medford, on the second floor of the church. Come in the back door (ring the doorbell if locked). Visitors are always welcome. Join us as we rehearse for upcoming performances, learn new music, learn new vocal techniques, and listen to established quartets. Sing with the chorus and/or do impromptu "quartetting" with us! Our music director is Don Meeker. Don has directed the Harmonizers since its inception in the 1980's and is a gifted and enthusiastic musician who inspires all who work with him to reach new musical heights!

The Rogue Valley Harmonizers perform in competitions with other barbershop choruses from the Northwest as well as for benefit shows, local high schools, Christmas programs, various organizational events and for two annual shows. In the fall we produce and stage our annual shows. The shows feature the chapter's chorus and quartets, as well as guest performers. Our repertoire ranges from traditional favorite ballads, up tunes, doo wap, patriotic, spiritual, rhythm, rock and roll, blues and novelty songs, all in four-part harmony. The Harmonizers are actively involved in the "Get America Singing Again" where chapter volunteers have taught more than 4,000 fourth grade students to sing classic songs.

If you are interested in having the Rogue Valley Harmonizers chorus, and/or one of their quartets perform for your organization or event, please call Bob Hall at 541-857-6557, visit our web site at www.rvharmonizers.org or find us on FACEBOOK for more information. We will be happy to discuss performance formats and fees for what you have in mind.
