Local music teacher Tish McFadden began Rum Tum Music Company in 1988. She began writing songs very casually and very privately for and about her two young sons' lives, and in a way, about her own childhood memories as well. Tish, Brian Freeman, and guest artists perform her original music for festivals, benefits, libraries, and schools... diverse settings for diverse audiences who share a universal love of music. Tish brings her flavor of music-making to communities with a contagious joy, inviting her listeners to sing and play at every opportunity. Musical sharing is what Rum Tum Music is all about. Tish's songs evoke vivid imagery of people and places around the globe with expressive lyrics and worldly arrangements.
