The Franklin Jonez Band has been performing at private parties, concerts and special events in the Rogue Valley since 1991. It ranges from a duo to a full dance band depending on the occasion and features original music from three writers and popular songs from the 60's to 90's.
Franklin Jonez (vocals and guitar) has a smooth singing and guitar playing style that is a pleasure to hear as he takes the listener upon a picture journey of melodic sound and penetrating emotion. Franklin has been with the opening acts for B.B. King, Robin Ford, Etta James, Elvin Bishop and many more. Shula Morgan (keyboard and vocals) started singing on stage at the age of five for churches and civic organizations and has written over seventy-five original songs. She has taught music locally since 1993. Larry West (lead guitar) has played music all over the United States and Mexico. He has been equally billed with Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Hot Tuna and Jefferson Airplane. Terry Welsch has performed as a drummer all his life and plays with various bands in the Rogue Valley, beautifully demonstrating different drumming styles.
