"Viva Voce"

Tish McFadden, along with co-founder Rick Soued, formed the folk rock group "Viva Voce" in 1997 to perform hootenanny-style concerts and sing-alongs in the Rogue Valley. With special guest artists and some of the area's finest musicians including Garth Pittman, Don Harriss, Mike Vediner, Steve Fain, and Scott Woolsey, Tish and Rick lead an audience in singing favorite tunes of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Tish says about these shows, "Singing together is immensely powerful in uniting community spirit. Sing-alongs not only bring voices together but also foster a sense of belonging, personal expression and cooperation among people of all ages in very direct and lasting ways. Singing together sets us free, but most of all, allows us to push past our own barriers to simply enjoy what it means to be human."
