Young Musicians & Artists is an annual two-week resident music camp held at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. YMA also offers performing and visual arts during its second session. YMA, since 1965, provides excellent music instruction to students from throughout the Northwest.

YMA has been in operation since 1965. The YMA faculty is made up of working professional artists and/or educators who are deeply committed to the artistic growth of the YMA students. Our ten-to-one student/faculty ratio provides an excellent learning environment in the demanding yet enjoyable two-week period. Recreation includes swimming, tennis, soccer, volleyball, ping-pong, and many other activities. Talent shows and concerts by the students and staff offer entertainment on seven evenings during each two-week session and there is a Choir and Band performance on Sunday (visitor’s day) which is midway through Session 1. A final performance occurs on the last night of the program. A full time nurse is on staff. Scholarships are available.
